For Laobr Day we decided to escape the heat and head to somewhere cooler. Road trip!! We headed to Payson for some fishing and hiking with some friends. Above are most of the kids that came. Left to Right: Gavin, Jacob (standing), Bryson, Tristan, Tatum, Chastin, and Daylen. Not pictured are Trey, Jenna, Brenna, and Austin
Just about everyone fishing caught something.
Above are Gavin and Bryson with their big catch.
After fishing the group split up and did some different things. We went hiking at Tonto Natural Bridge. It was beautiful and so amazing. Jeff and I went a few years back but it was so much more fun doing it with the kids. They had an awsome time.
The main entrance to the Natural Bridge.
Trey was the oldest of the kids their. He was a great helper. The rocks were so smooth and slippery from all the people who have visited the bridge over time..
My sweet friend Amber and I
They look close but they are actually REALLY high up and quite far away. Jeff is a great dad. He is so patient with the kids and makes sure the all (even the baby) get the most out of the experiance.

Great pictures. What a fun idea. The ward campout is this weekend so we are heading up to Payson on Friday. What was the weather up there like?
It looks like you had so much fun! Sorry we missed out :( Next time... I love the bridge picture, and your family pic is great too!
Liz- Payson was really nice. It was pretty warm, but still okay to be outside. Have fun on your campout.
super fun times! wish we could have spent more time together, i actually don't remember starting a conversation with you or amber. so sad. oh well next time. :)
I love the Tonto Natural Bridge, it was one of our favorite places to visit when we lived in AZ. Hope things cool down for you soon, that heat can drive you crazy!
Looks like tons of fun!
I know this sounds bad but after living in AZ for 24 years I have never been to Tonto National Bridge or Montezumas well for that matter. How terrible is that? Your pictures are beautiful. Looks like lots of fun.
That looks like a lot of fun! I've always wanted to go to the Natural Bridge. I've only seen pictures and heard stories. How cool!
