My BFF, Lorrin

So Lorrin and I have been BFF's since we were in the third grade, right Lorrin? That is almost 20 years. We were really more like sisters. We did EVERYTHING together. I am so excited, she is coming to visit next week. I am looking forward to seeing her and her cute family. Check her blog out at http://lorringwagner.blogspot.com. She now lives far far away across the country in the other sunny state of Flordia. Travel safely and see you soon, Love ya Lorrin!
About the cute little picture above. I think we were between the ages of 13 and 15. Not old enough to drive or walk along Willow Creek Road. Willow Creek Rd was a pretty busy road that some kid apparently died on while he was riding his bike. So Lorrin's parents forbid us from ever being on that road unless we were in a car. We wanted to get our pictures taken and there was no one around to take us. Did that stop us? I think not. So we decided to walk to JC Penny's in the so called mall to get some fancy pictures. It probably would not have been that bad if we could have done a straight shot up Willow Creek to the mall, but no. We walked and walked the "senic" way through the neighborhoods. It took what seemed like forever. By the time we got there we were so hot and sweaty. But the photographer was still able to capture some hot pictures. Don't you think?
What is your take on this day Lorrin?

I can't believe you dragged this picture out! I have this in so many different sizes it was crazy. The funny thing is that I was always the one with the incredible memory, now I get to correct Sarah! What a change (could be the three kids, ya think). Anyway, we met in the 4th grade. It was a great start from the beginning, we would sing songs on the playground with Leslie (can't remember her last name). We were wild and crazy and the only people Sarah knew other than DeAnn Bunker. Ahh, the memories. I believe we did these pictures in 7th grade, it was miserable. I think it was like the hottest day ever. The worst part was that we spent hours doing our hair before taking the journey, we made it a lot longer because we had to go to McDonald's for breakfast. I think we missed the breakfast time too! Ahh, the memories. I can't wait to see Sarah and the boys and have a great girls' morning out and then some fun afterwards. It will be the highlight of our trip! See you soon, BFF (our tag signature from elementary on through HS)

Charman-
Nope no orthodontist work for me. I think that is one of the few natural beauties I have. Hooray for good teeth and thank you Dad for passing them on to me.

Lorrin-
I stand corrected, 4th grade it is. Three kidos has certainly effected my memory. Yeah it was tough moving to Prescott but you, DeeAnn, and Leslie Whoever sure made it a lot easier. I totally forgot about McDonald's. That is so funny! I am just laughing my head off right now thinking of all the fun we had. I can't wait to talk about the old times and laugh some more.

That is so awesome! I remember the "fishing trip" we took down at Willow Lake. That disgusting crawfish you cut up as bait, and the fish I caught with bacon! You two certainly kept quite the friendship together!

I love this photo. It is s adorable, and the story to go with it is so much fun. I love it! I love that you did your hair and went to McDonalds for breakfast, but missed the breakfast and got all hot and sweaty walking to get your picture taken. What determination! Wasn't that mall scary? I remember it being very dark inside... and that there were no stores past Waffles n' more outside. Do you remember the TG&Y store where JoAnn's took over? Goodness, I remember being 5 and going to buy flip flops or jellies there.

Yeah that mall was a treat on SO many different levels. I have so many fond memories of that place. Jellies, oh I remember loving them. They were so cool.

WOW! Now that is a great picture! How much fun you must have had that day avoiding the dangers of Willow Creek Rd which back then was quite skinny and dangerous! :) Hope you girls have a fantastic visit! :)
