Bashas field trip

Bryson had a fun pre-school field trip to...

The tour was so much fun, I am pretty sure the whole class had a great time. It was interesting to see the behind the scenes of the grocery store.

Before the tour could start everyone had to put on a hair net. Can you believe that? Don't we look so attractive? This was the first time I have ever worn one, hopefully the last.

We watched them make a pizza which they cooked in their brick oven.

Watched them decorate a cake, which took them about 1 minute. It would have taken me about 4 hours.

We saw thier BIG cooler or refrigerator.

The enormous freezer. I think Bryson is so happy because he is with all the extra ice cream.

A huge box crusher. When it crushes the boxes is sounds a little like popcorn popping.

A butcher at work cutting some Serloin Steaks.

Taste a new breed of Apples. It was a Jazz apple. The Jazz is a cross of the Gala and Braeburn. Pretty yummy.

Talked to Tommy in produce about the produce.

We even got to eat pizza, cookies, and soda. The pizza turned out GREAT.

The loot. Bryson got a coloring book and balloon.

Thanks Bashas for a great time.

the jazz apple sounds rad. i always get gala apples but when they're out of season i get braeburn. i love them both so i'm gonna have to try that one out.

So we went on a field trip to the Grocery store at the local Safeway and there were flies all over the place and they gave us cookies to TAKE HOME AND DECORATE ourselves. Not as great a trip as yours...

Dallin loved his Preschool Bashas trip. I actually thought it was pretty cool too! All the food was great. We didn't have to wear hair nets though. Love yours! :)
