Kids picking their own clothes...

This is what happens when you let your kids pick out their own clothes. Something I just recently started doing with my kids. Big step for me and them.

But check it out...I think the chicks still dig him.

I am loving the socks with the shorts! Too bad he doesn't have some over-the-knee socks. It's always challenging to allow them to pick their own clothes, you just don't want them looking like orphans. Way to relax Mom!

Ha ha! Very cute! I've tried to do that SO many times, but the "got-to-match-a-little" & the "need-to-dress-for-the-weather" instincts are hard to ignore for me. I mean, I'm still telling my 11 year old what to wear.... It's a stubborn habit that I just can't talk myself out of! :o) But praise to you for doing it! That's great!

I take that lovely opportunity away by buying nothing but white socks!! LOL
Love the bike riding. We use to do that in Houston. Here it isn't safe yet as they have no shoulders on the roads in our subdivision. As the new developments come in though they will be adding them. By then it will be just me at home while the kiddies are in school. Okay, now I need a tissue. Thanks a lot!!

ha,ha,ha! So cute! He actually did a pretty good job, the socks add character--which is why I'm sure the chicks dig him! Hey Sarah, the next time you're in Prescott (I don't know if your parents are still here) we should go to lunch or something. It's so fun to see your family and keep in touch with you! Love ya, Mer :o)

That outfit is fantastic! I love seeing what kids come up with when they dress themselves! You saw what Lexi was wearing at the park that one day that she dressed herself! You can use this photo as blackmail at his wedding dinner! :)
