Last week a couple friends and I took our kids to an event in Scottsdale called Might Mud Mania. It was a chance for the kids to play in the mud along with some other activities. I was expecting to get some great pictures like these of my own children...
But to my surprise my kids hated the mud. They got their shoes muddy and that was it for them. So below are some of the pictures from Mighty Mud Mania with very little mud.

This is Bryson at the very beginning of the 6 and under obstacle course. Notice he went down the slide and now is trying to escape from the rest of the course. Yuck!
At the end of the course you got a ribbon. This is Austin holding his ribbon. I had to carry him through most of the course. I don't think he is that impressed.

They did have tons of booths set up all over where you could get various free stuff. At one they got these balloons. Pretty tough looking boys don't ya think?
Austin's face cracks me up in this picture. Everytime we saw this Roadrunner he wanted to go see him. Then when we finally made it over to him he was freaked out.
Amber's boys had a great time. They are pretty clean in this picture but before they got cleaned off they were covered in mud.

ok with that first picture i was totally thinking, when did the wimmers go to africa? hahahaha! i was bunned that we missed this my kids would have loved it. they don't even know that this happened cause i didn't want them to feel bad.
I finally figured out google reader. It is quite convenient. Can I leave comments from google reader or do I need to go to the blog to do it? It looks like mud mania was lots of fun. I wonder if my boys would have gotten muddy.

Looks like it could have been a ton of fun. So sorry that your little guys didn't want to get down and dirty but atleast it made getting home easy. You didn't have to worry about cleaning them up so maybe it was a trade off for not getting those muddy pictures.
Oh yeah, that was last Saturday! where does the time go?! I'm not sure if my kids would have done it either. Zane has covered both Alec and Brooke in mud just playing around and they both freaked out!! But in theory it looks fun. :)
Wow, that looks way fun! That would have been right up Zane's alley since he looks like every time he comes in from the back yard.
How classic! At least you didn't get your car all muddy driving home! That road runner is a little scarey close up! Nothing like Snoopy! You are brave for going out in the heat! I am being a cave person still!! We go out for movies and the library and that is it!
I think Jaxson would have been grossed out. It really does look like the coolest event though...hopefully next yr it looks like fun.
