What do you think?

My girlfriends and I came up with the most adorable front door signs for a few different holidays. I always get a ton of complements on how cute they are. Well a member of the Relief Society Pres. heard about them and asked me to do a midweek activity for our ward teaching people how to make a Happy Easter one. There was a huge response from the ladies in my ward. In the end I think I cut wood and got supplies for about 65 signs. It was a ton of work but it was also so much fun getting together to do some crafting. So here is the finished product...

Aren't they so cute!!!

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? It's cool, but they should have asked your permission first.

That is hysterical!!! I can't believe they totally stole your pictures. You are super fancy but really, I'm with you, couldn't they have come up with their own pictures. I would leave them a comment....say you want a % of the profits....

It is flattering, but also lame. They tried to change the coloring, but it is most definately your pictures. Are they here locally?? The thing I found kinda funny is that it is labeled as a kids class. I know I am pretty slow when it comes to this, but I don't know if kids would be able to do it. I also liked our price tag better too.

That is seriously funny! Maybe they should learn to photoshop and at least change the house numbers :)

That is so funny (and cute!) I went to the link and they took it down, perhaps they keep up with your blog on a regular basis:) What a compliment.

I just wanted to make a quick comment. I know the owner of the business, and wanted to clear some things up. I really don't want anyone to have negative feelings towards this person/business.

I made the vinyl for our activity and she was over at my house picking up her own order of vinyl. She asked what we were making, so I tried to explain them to her. I hadn't made mine yet, so I told her I would email her a picture (the one Sarah sent around). She then asked if she could use it on her website. I told her that I didn't think it would be a big deal... BUT I'm so sorry! I really should have asked you Sarah.

She actually decided not to teach that class, but had not updated her website. I sent her new pictures, but she let me know the class was not being offered.

So, I hope there are no hard feelings in any way.

I teach lots of different classes and I am always looking for new fun and fabulous projects. I really didn't want to offend anyone. I had a friend suggest the project and send me pics. I think they are so cute! You designed a darling sign. I didn't realize they were your pics and would never have used them if I thought it would be a problem. I guess I need to be more careful next time.
